Covenant Eschatology Full Preterism and Max King

Covenant Eschatology Full Preterism was founded by Max King in 1971.

In Max’s framework and paradigm, he saw an “Old Covenant Age” and a “New Covenant Age” in the Bible that he equated with the “Old Heaven and Earth” and the “New Heaven and Earth”.

Max did NOT take his “Old Age” and “New Age” as referring to the material Universe or physical biology.

He instead saw the “Old Age” and the “New Age” as describing a corporate and covenantal relationship between God and Humanity.

In Max King’s framework, the “Old Covenant Age” as the “Old Heaven and Earth” refers to an era that was defined by the Mosaic Law, the earthly temple system, and a state of Mankind’s covenantal separation from God.

Max King defined “death” and “flesh” and “the old man” CORPORATELY rather than referring to individuals or biology.

Max saw the “Old Covenant Age” as an era of “the law of sin and death” – which Max claimed was a state of spiritual alienation and separation from God because the Law prevented Mankind from being restored to God’s presence.

Max King claimed that the Old Covenant and the New Covenant change was not an instant change on the cross – but that there was a 40 year covenantal transition and shift process between the cross and AD 70.

He said this “40 year covenant transition process” ended with the Old Covenant and the Law being removed in AD 70 at the fall of Jerusalem – therefore allowing Mankind to be reconciled and restored to the presence of God in AD 70.

Max claimed that the “New Covenant Age” that fully came in AD 70 is the fully realized and eternal kingdom of God – a new era of total reconciliation to God and spiritual life instead of spiritual death for Mankind.

Max saw that the “New Covenant Age” was inaugurated at the cross, and it became fully established (consummated) with the fall of Jerusalem in AD 70.

He taught that the Old Covenant was decaying and passing away for 40 years after the cross – while the New Covenant was growing to maturity for these 40 years.

In Max’s “New Age” – or “New Covenant Age, World, Order, System, Kingdom, Administration, and Creation” – that began in AD 70, God dwells directly with Humanity in fully restored fellowship and presence.

“Resurrection” to Max King was the corporate resurrection of God’s people out of the Old Covenant “corporate body of death” into the New Covenant “corporate body of Christ”.

This is how Max King defines the “bodily change” in the Bible – such as in Philippians 3:21, “Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body”.

Max took his own “Covenant Eschatology Full Preterism” framework and paradigm that he created and he came to see Universalism or the “40 year universal reconciling work of Christ” that culminated in AD 70 when the “Old Covenant Age” became the “New Covenant Age” at the fall of Jerusalem.

Max’s “Old Covenant Age” was an age of separation, alienation, spiritual death, mortality, law and legalism, works, physical temple, earthly, condemnation, imperfection, carnality, flesh, bondage, perishing, and corruption.

This age for Mankind allegedly completely ended in AD 70.

Max’s “New Covenant Age” that fully began for Mankind in AD 70 is an age of reconciliation, spiritual life, immortality, grace, spiritual temple, heavenly, unity, full access to God’s presence, victory, wholeness, justification, perfection, completion, and liberty.

Purportedly, if you believe in Max King’s “Covenant Eschatology” framework, you can then enjoy being a partaker and citizen in this “New Age” that fully began in AD 70 when the “Old Age”completely ended.

Also, it was Max King who coined the term “Covenant Eschatology” for his framework and “40 year covenant transition and change” view.

Max King’s “Covenant Eschatology Full Preterism” is carried on by special teachers today – some of whom spent direct time with Max King – such as Don Preston, William Bell, Ed Stevens, Jack Scott, and others.

By the way, not all teachers take the “corporate context” of a “body that was raised in AD 70” – but Max’s “Covenant Eschatology” framework is basically defined by Max’s “40 year covenantal transition, shift, and status change” that allegedly took place between the cross and AD 70 when Jerusalem fell – which is when they say the second coming of Christ took place and the “New Heaven and Earth” as the “New Covenant Age” fully began.

Some other teachers of this insidious, mystical, esoteric, hyper-spiritualized, and Occult New Age Religion framework and view from Max King are David Curtis, Gary DeMar, Mike Sullivan, Robert Cruickshank, Zach Davis, Tim Martin, Ward Fenley, Michael Miano, Steve Magua, Kim Burgess, Allyn Morton, Alex Polyak, Rick Welch, Travis Drum, Jeff Vaughn, Holger Neubauer, Steve Baisden, Larry Siegle, Charles Meek, Cindye Coates, Maurice Rogers, and Kristin Bingamon.

Beware of this genuine cult that Max King began in 1971 with his first book that he published on this insidious framework that he came up with about a non-existent “Old Covenant Age” and “New Covenant Age” and “40 year covenant transition process”!

Imagine saying that the “Old Age” of spiritual separation, spiritual death, condemnation, imperfection, flesh, and bondage completely ended in AD 70.

And the “New Age” of spiritual reconciliation, spiritual life, God’s presence, acceptance, liberty, and perfection fully matured and fully began in AD 70.

I guess we’re all in the “New Age” right now!

Of course, the founder of this cult Max King naturally reasoned that there’s nobody in the “Old Age” that completely ended in AD 70.

And he reasoned that in the “New Age” that allegedly fully began in AD 70, nobody can be spiritually separated, condemned, in bondage, or spiritually dead – because none of these things allegedly exist in the “New Age” that fully began in AD 70!

Beware of this cult that Max King began in 1971!
