There’s an alleged “40 year covenant overlap between the cross and AD 70” – which is impossible.

These cult members in Covenant Eschatology Full Preterism insist that a “corporate Israel” was “resurrected from the dead” in AD 70 when the “sign of the second coming of Christ” took place at the destruction of the Israelite temple by the Roman army.

Of course, their “second coming of Christ” in AD 70 is hyper-spiritualized and NOT the literal descending of the Lord Jesus Christ out of Heaven.

These cult members will tell you that “God came on the clouds in judgment in the Old Testament therefore, Christ came THE SAME WAY in AD 70!”

Again… It’s all hyper-spiritualized and symbolism, metaphor, allegory, and hyperbole.

…and this “corporate Israel” experienced “corporate salvation, redemption, forgiveness, and reconciliation” in AD 70 along with a “corporate change to immortality, incorruption, perfection, and glory” in AD 70.

If you ask them, “So are you telling me that Jesus Christ does NOT literally descend as a human being man at his second coming, appearing, arrival, and return?”…

…based on the heretical Max King framework that they’ve employed, they’re forced to answer, “That’s right, it’s not literal, it’s all spiritual!”

And they must also answer, “Christ spiritually returned to dwell in his people in the New Covenant age that we’re now living in as the New Heaven and Earth that was officially consummated in AD 70. Christ is now spiritually here in the holy spiritual city New Jerusalem that came down from God out of Heaven in AD 70. Get inside this holy spiritual New Jerusalem city that’s here right now, and you’ll be in the New Temple and in the presence of the Christ that spiritually returned in AD 70.”
