Max King’s “Covenant Eschatology Full Preterism” has directly produced two offshoots…

“Covenant Creation” and “Israel Only”

No matter what anybody says about the Bible in a healthy way, both “Covenant Creation” and “Israel Only” supporters are going to ram it through the Max King framework and then their own “Covenant Creation” or “Israel Only” framework.

Max King is the one who came up with the heretical idea that “the Resurrection” in AD 70 was Israel’s “standing again”.

And Max King had the task of taking an “Israel death problem” that was “destroyed in AD 70” all the way back to Adam – because the biblical narrative obviously starts with Adam and the Fall.

Max King had to make “Israel’s death problem” that “Israel was resurrected out from in AD 70” be an “Adam death problem”.

Max King made a “corporate people in Adam” (as a “corporate body”) be the “object of the standing again as the Resurrection in AD 70”.

He adopted an “AD 70 Universalism” because of this “corporate standing again” of “all in Adam and in Adam’s death”.

Max King had EVERYBODY IN ADAM – all humankind – “stand again and be saved in an AD 70 Resurrection” at the alleged “end of the Old Covenant age”.

Then Jeff Vaughn and Tim Martin proposed “Covenant Creation” around 2002 in order to try and save Max King’s Covenant Eschatology from Universalism.

Jeff Vaughn and Tim Martin have Adam be the “first Old Covenant man” born from pagan parents in pagan nations – and they define “Adamic death” as “losing the status of being a son of God and becoming a servant”.

Around the same time in 2005, Chris Camillo (Rivers O Feden) proposed “Israel Only” as another alternative to “Covenant Creation” trying to fix Max King’s Universalism in his Covenant Eschatology Full Preterism.

Rivers O Feden claims that the ONLY object of God’s resurrection (standing again) and salvation in AD 70 was Israelites out from Abraham.

Today, there’s even an “Israel Only” view that mixes Rivers O Feden’s view with Vaughn and Martin’s “Covenant Creation” view.

Your head can get to spinning when you realize how many insane views have come out from Max King creating his heretical “Covenant Eschatology Full Preterism” in 1971!

And it’s all based on Max King’s false teaching that a non-existent “Old Covenant age and world” ended in AD 70!

Around 2000 to 2010, the push was on to try and save Max King’s Covenant Eschatology Full Preterism from his Universalism that he adopted.

The elephant in the room here is Max King saying that Israel was the object of God’s salvation, redemption, and “standing again” (the Resurrection) in AD 70.

And everybody here is TRYING TO DEFINE EXACTLY WHO got “saved” and “resurrected” in AD 70!

It’s like the game “pin the tail on the donkey”!

So a “change to immortality, incorruption. perfection, and glory” took place FOR CERTAIN PEOPLE in AD 70 at the “presence/parousia/coming of Christ”.

Well, WHO EXACTLY went through this change to immortality???

What does it mean to become immortal, incorruptible, perfected, and glorified?!?!?!

Nobody in Max Kingism (Covenant Eschatology Full Preterism) can agree on WHO THIS GROUP OF PEOPLE ARE that went through this change to immortality at the “presence/parousia/coming of Christ in the first century”!!!

A huge issue with “Israel Only” is that they’re like a one trick pony.

They go on and on with “the ethne/gentiles/nations means lost Israelites”, but they can’t even tell you THE MEANS for Israel getting saved in AD 70!

It’s like straining at a gnat while swallowing a camel!

It’s like Don Preston, William Bell, Mike Sullivan, Zach Davis and the whole Covenant Eschatology cult crew CONSTANTLY PUSHING the prophets in order to try and prop up their own agenda.

Everybody has things backwards!!!

The New Testament reveals BRAND NEW THINGS about the Church and God’s redemption plan – and nobody wants to admit this!

People are stupid and ridiculous enough to use the New Testament in such a way that neglects the BRAND NEW INFORMATION that’s presented in it.

And one of the biggest issues here is that you simply CANNOT conflate or equate the “Adamic death problem and the Fall” with “Israel as a nation and their Old Covenant and Law” that came along 2500 years after Adam and the Fall.

This fact alone screws EVERYBODY in Max Kingism and its offshoots!

Israel’s Old Covenant didn’t even exist prior to Mount Sinai with Moses around 1500 BC – and it was fulfilled, made obsolete, cancelled, and laid aside on the cross in AD 31 – yet all of these false teachers insist a non-existent “Old Covenant age” as the “Old Heaven and Earth that began in Genesis 1:1” continued until AD 70!

Max King screwed everybody in Covenant Eschatology Full Preterism – and instead of people being smart enough and discerning enough to rip down his framework and foundation and then starting over, everybody just keeps cruising along with his heretical “Covenant Eschatology Full Preterism” idea that a non-existent “Old Covenant age” allegedly ended in AD 70 at the “presence/parousia/coming of Christ in the first century”.

Once you say that an alleged “Old Covenant age” ended in AD 70, you’re forced into cramming and stuffing all kinds of crazy definitions into this framework that Max King created in his 1971 book – which is why there’s so much infighting and so many factions in this cult movement out from Max King.
