Gary DeMar from American Vision is making an old fool of himself. He’s now thrown out his religious business career, reputation, and legacy.

Gary joined up with the guys in the Max King Cult called Covenant Eschatology Full Preterism. He recently attended another one of their very small conferences as a speaker, and he came right out and said that the second coming of Christ was in the first century. This makes him a Full Preterist. But what kind of Full Preterist is he now?!

Being that Gary DeMar is more prominent than anybody else in this cult, now he’s got to start defining all the terms and doctrines associated with studying Eschatology. What are his definitions going to be? And how bastardized is his Soteriology (the study of Salvation) and his Christology (the study of the work, the nature, and the person of Jesus Christ) going to become? The leading teachers in the Covenant Eschatology Full Preterism cult already have a false Jesus Christ and a false Gospel. Since Gary DeMar has already made his bed with these guys, he’ll have to follow suit.

Here’s a comment I made on one of my YouTube videos for those WHO GO ON AND ON AND ON about “Well, God rode and came on clouds in the Old Testament, and THIS is what Jesus did in the first century because it’s all metaphor, allegory, hyperbole, and symbolism!”

This is a major talking point and mantra in this cult.

They’re not answering the question, “What FORM and what NATURE did the PERSON of Jesus Christ have WHEN HE APPEARED, ARRIVED, and CAME in his PRESENCE in HIS promised SECOND COMING?”

There’s no other more important question concerning Eschatology!

It should be a super simple question to answer by such purported wise teachers!

Why are these false teachers redefining the Parousia of Jesus Christ – which is Jesus’ promised coming, arrival, and appearing IN HIS PRESENCE at THE ONE AND ONLY promised second coming?!

The top teacher in this cult, Don Preston (though Gary DeMar might soon become the top teacher in this cult), defines the Parousia of Christ in the first century by saying the alive saints metaphorically went into the metaphoric air in a metaphoric Rapture, and they metaphorically met Christ in the metaphoric air, and they metaphorically escorted the presence of Christ back to Earth.

Oh my!

And this is the top teacher in this cult who wrote over 30 books on the topic of Covenant Eschatology Full Preterism!

Yikes!

What they’re saying about “God rode and came on the clouds of judgment in the Old Testament and so did Christ in the first century” might SOUND GOOD to unsuspecting and gullible people, but it doesn’t answer the question about what FORM and what NATURE did the PERSON of Jesus Christ have at “the second coming of Christ”?!

This is Christology 101!

How are you going to define the second coming of Jesus Christ?!

How is Gary DeMar now defining the second coming of Jesus Christ?!

There’s a HUGE difference between the Old Testament metaphor of “God riding on the clouds” and the New Testament second coming of the PERSON of the Lord Jesus Christ.

In case you missed it – God became flesh in the PERSON of Jesus in the womb of Mary.

This SAME JESUS that was on Earth for 30 or so years promised to appear, arrive, and come IN HIS PRESENCE in his second coming.

And all you’ve got is “Yeah, it’s all metaphor, symbolism, allegory, and hyperbole.”

So you can go on and on and on all you want about “God rode on the clouds then and Jesus did it in the first century too” BUT YOU’RE NOT ANSWERING THE QUESTION!

In what FORM and what NATURE was the PERSON of Jesus Christ at his second coming in the first century?

It’s a super simple question, but you’re programmed with cult doctrine and you keep spewing out your cult doctrine – as if this is somehow answering the question.

It’s not answering the question!

It’s easy to understand that “riding and coming on the clouds” is judgment language – that’s a given.

But what about THE PERSON OF JESUS CHRIST WHO PROMISED TO APPEAR, ARRIVE, AND COME AGAIN THE SECOND TIME IN HIS PRESENCE?!

Did Jesus come down out from Heaven as Spirit? Did he come down out from Heaven as a human being? As a real person? Did he not even come down out from Heaven? If he actually did come down out from Heaven, what form and what nature did he have? Did Jesus just stay in Heaven, and “coming on the clouds” meant the Roman army destroying Jerusalem? Was Jesus in the form and the nature of the Roman soldiers in his second coming?

These are not difficult questions. These are not trick questions.

What about the PERSON OF JESUS CHRIST?!?!

The MAN Jesus Christ?!?!

Is Jesus even a MAN who is a PERSON right now?!?!

Or is he something else?!?!

Jesus promised to meet the alive and remaining saints in the air at his second coming, and they were promised both relief and a change to immortality!

Did this happen at the second coming of Christ in the first century?!?!

Did he stay in Heaven?? Or did he somehow appear, return, arrive, and come in his presence in the first century?? Where is Jesus Christ right now?? Is he now here on Earth ever since his second coming in the first century? In what FORM?? In what NATURE??

These should be very simple questions to answer! They are definitely very very important questions to answer because of Christology – the study of the work, the NATURE, and the PERSON of Jesus Christ!

I’ve studied the Covenant Eschatology Full Preterism cult long enough to know that they have a false Jesus Christ. And now Gary DeMar has joined rank with them. He’s spending intimate fellowship time with snakes, devils, and wolves in sheepskin – which really exposes that he doesn’t have good discernment after decades in a religious business career! And sadly, Gary’s now involved in the same subterfuge, vagueness, and trickery concerning definitions of terms as these other cult members in the Covenant Eschatology Full Preterism cult. Cults rely on their ability to hide definitions and their ability to dodge being exposed.
