Max King is the founder of the Covenant Eschatology Full Preterism Cult

The following (below) is from Max King’s 👉1971👈 book “The Spirit of Prophecy”, where Max introduced his core heretical doctrine in his “Covenant Eschatology Full Preterism” false teaching (see attached image from page 103).

People in this cult today say, “I never read Max King”, but here’s the thing… Max directly taught Ed Stevens, William Bell, and Don Preston. And these false teachers ended up getting their own disciples. It wasn’t until the 1990’s that this cult started gaining some traction. The early 2000’s brought a lot of extra false doctrine to this cult, and it has slowly been growing for the past 25 years.

Even Gary DeMar from American Vision is now teaching “Max Kingism” or “Covenant Eschatology”, which also goes by “Realized Eschatology” and “Fulfilled Eschatology”.

There is a unity and fellowship that people in this cult have today, if even they never read any Max King. The more prominent teachers in this cult are Don Preston, William Bell, Gary DeMar, Zach Davis, David Curtis, Mike Sullivan, Ed Stevens, Tim Martin, Jeff Vaughn, Ward Fenley, Holger Neubauer, Allyn Morton, Robert Cruickshank, Rick Welch, Michael Miano, Kristin Bingamon (Heretic Chick Chat), Charles Meek, Alex Polyak, Steve Magua, and Joel Rosenauer.

You do not need to read Max King to hear about and buy into this cult’s heretical doctrine. All throughout Max’s 1971 book, he teaches the core heretical doctrine that is still taught today in the cult he founded, the Covenant Eschatology Full Preterism Cult. And yes, Max taught this doctrine of demons to Ed Stevens, William Bell, and Don Preston, who in turn taught it to others.

Ask yourself this very simple question as it concerns this cult and their “Christ”…

When the “Christ” of this cult “came back the second time” in “power and glory” at the alleged “end of the Jewish age in AD 70”, in what FORM and what NATURE did this “Christ” actually “come with in AD 70” at the alleged “end of Judaism”?

It’s a very simple question that should be easily answered by anybody in this cult.

When this “Christ came in power and glory at the fall of Jerusalem in AD 70”, what FORM and what NATURE did this “Christ” have at that very moment?

This is the very basics of Christology, which is the study of the work, the nature, and the person of Jesus Christ.

As an example… When this “Christ” of Max Kingism “came in his kingdom with power, glory, and judgment at the fall of Jerusalem in AD 70”, Paul teaches in 1 Thess. 4:17 that the alive and remaining saints would meet Christ in the air together with the saints out from Sheol.

Okay. How did this “meeting Christ in the air” take place at the fall of Jerusalem in AD 70?

Again, what FORM and what NATURE did this cult’s “Christ” have when this “meeting in the air” took place at the alleged “end of the Jewish age in AD 70”?

Simple stuff to answer actually, especially if you’re a cult leader who wrote over 30 books on “Covenant Eschatology”, like Don Preston.

And after this meeting in the air took place according to Paul in 1 Thess. 4:17, where did these saints and “Christ” go?

Did they all come back to Earth with “Christ”?

Did they all go to Heaven with “Christ”?

Did they all remain in the air with “Christ”?

Who is this “Christ” of the Covenant Eschatology Full Preterism Cult?

If the “presence” (parousia) of this “Christ” was manifest at the alleged “end of the Jewish age” in the first century, where is this “Christ” and his “presence” right now, especially since he “came with power, glory, and judgment” at the alleged “end of Judaism” in the first century.

Gary DeMar from American Vision is now teaching that the manifested “presence” (parousia) of “Christ” at the alleged “end of the Jewish age” in the first century was in “Spirit”.

Is this now the new way that Christians are willing to define the second coming of Christ?

Are Christians now going to adopt the heretical teaching that “Christ came the second time in Spirit in the first century at the end of the Jewish age”?

And the claim is that the “presence” (parousia) of this “Christ in Spirit” that “came back the second time at the end of the Jewish age in the first century” IS HERE RIGHT NOW EVER SINCE THE FIRST CENTURY!

But, you must tap into this “presence” with esoteric teachings from this cult in order to get into the “presence” of this “Christ” that “came back the second time in Spirit at the end of the Jewish age in the first century”.

Oh my! This is Occult New Age religion! This is NOT the Jesus Christ of the Bible!

Welcome to Max Kingism, aka the Covenant Eschatology Full Preterism Cult!

By the way, Max King directly coined the term “Covenant Eschatology”, that is still used by these cult members today.

Here’s the direst quote from the founder of this cult’s first book in 1971, “The Spirit of Prophecy” by Max King, page 103.

//…is the fact that the kingdom had its beginning then [Pentecost], but Christ did not come in his kingdom with power and glory then. If so, what reward did he give at that time? Matthew said, “Then he shall reward every man according to his works.” This fits 👉his coming in the end of Judaism, 👈 but not Pentecost. John applies the “rewarding” to 👉the end of the Jewish age: 👈 “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.” (Rev. 22:12). That is the same coming as in Matt. 16:27, 28, and the same judgment or rewarding, and it is equated with Luke’s record in chapter 21: 27-32. 👉It is the time Christ came in his kingdom with power, glory, and judgment, 👈 and Luke applies it 👉to the fall of Jerusalem.👈 There is no exegetical weakness in this interpretation, except the fact that it opposes some traditional views. But as it has already been stated, one must let inspiration lead, interpretation follow, and tradition fall when it opposes the inevitable.//
