Preterism relates to eschatology (the study of the end times). Preterism is simply “past fulfillment”. So when it comes to Christian eschatology, HOW MUCH was “past fulfillment”?
Jesus’ first coming (advent) in his incarnation (in the flesh) in the womb of Mary is obviously something different than his promised second coming (advent) that Scripture teaches.
There is a “New Postmillennialism” taking over for Dispensationalism.
Dispensationalism has run its course, and the “big shots” are putting together the “New Eschatology” for 501c3 Churchianity.
The elephant in the room is that guys like Ken Gentry, Gary DeMar, Doug Wilson, and Jeff Durbin are teaching an alleged “old covenant heavens and earth age” ended in the first century, and that an alleged “new covenant heavens and earth age” began in the first century.
They say that we are right now “in the new covenant heavens and earth age”.
This is not Partial/Orthodox Preterism!
THIS IS FULL PRETERISM!
It’s the elephant in the room!
This “end of the old covenant age” heretical nonsense is what a false teacher by the name of Max King came up with in his 1971 book!
Max King coined the term “Covenant Eschatology” for his Full Preterism that involves a non-existent “old covenant age or world” and a non-existent “new covenant age or world”.
Max King taught “the second coming of Christ” took place “at the end of the old covenant age in AD 70”, which is when he said “the new covenant age” began.
Max King taught “the old covenant age” was “the old heaven and earth age”, and “the new covenant age” is “the new heaven and earth age” (that began with his definition of “the second coming of Christ in AD 70”).
Max King’s false doctrine about an alleged “old covenant age” and “new covenant age” has grown into a small cult today called “Covenant Eschatology Full Preterism”, which has an online presence on YouTube with false teachers who push Max King’s heretical “old covenant age and new covenant age” false teachings.
Incidentally, Gary DeMar has been keeping his intimate koinonia brotherly fellowship with the heretics and blasphemers in the Covenant Eschatology Full Preterism Cult – regularly appearing on their Youtube channels and even appearing and speaking at their conferences. Gary DeMar and Kim Burgess teach blatant Max King Cult false doctrine in their recent book published in 2023.
If the “the new heaven and earth age” began in the first century, then Christ had his one and only second coming in the first century!
There is no separating these two events by thousands of years!
Scripture is very clear that the one and only second coming of Christ takes place at the end of the old heaven and earth age!
And the new heaven and earth age begins at the end of the old heaven and earth age.
These Partial/Orthodox Preterists are forced into being Full Preterists by their own teaching!
Jesus did not teach that “the end of the old heaven and earth age” happens twice.
And Jesus did not teach that he has a “sort of second coming in the first century” and then a “real deal second coming thousands of years later”.
Did “the end of the age” and “Jesus’ second coming” happen in the first century?
Or, is “the end of the age” and “Jesus’ second coming” in our future?
Ken Gentry, Gary DeMar, Doug Wilson, Jeff Durbin, and others want to say, “No, no, no, I’m not a Full Preterist!”
But they’re already teaching Max King’s full preterist doctrine called “Covenant Eschatology Full Preterism”, where eschatology according to Max King and his deceived disciples is based on “covenant” and a non-existent “new covenant age or world” beginning in the first century.
Once you say that an alleged “old covenant heavens and earth age” ended in the first century, and that we are right now in an alleged “new covenant heavens and earth age” that began in the first century, you are a Full Preterist.
It’s the elephant in the room, because Jesus Christ comes back his one and only second time at the end of the old heaven and earth age!
And again, the new heaven and and earth age in Scripture begins at the end of the old heaven and earth age.
And if you say the “beginning of the new heaven and earth age” took place in the first century, YOU MUST SAY the one and only second coming of Jesus Christ also took place at that time in the first century!
These guys come up with their fancy title “Orthodox Preterists”, and more and more “big shots” are jumping on board because the doom and gloom of Dispensationalism is all used up in 501c3 Churchianity.
This is the “New Postmillennialism” that is the up and coming “New Eschatology” in 501c3 Churchianity – where you’re not allowed to question these “big shots” who threaten lawsuits against you when exposing what they hide!
