These Max King Cult (Covenant Eschatology Full Preterism Cult) guys have a form of Gnosticism.

It’s not exactly the same as first and second century Gnosticism, but the fruit of Gnosticism is in this cult.

They take an “exclusive spiritual only” view of “old covenant spiritual death” and “new covenant spiritual life”.

It’s all myth, metaphor, allegory, symbolism, hyperbole, and poetry when it comes to an alleged “old covenant age and world of the Jews” that “ended in AD 70”.

And they equate this alleged “end of Judaism in AD 70” with the “end of the world” and the “end of the age” that they also equate with “the Old Heaven and Earth”.

When they say “the Old Heaven and Earth ended in AD 70”, what they really mean is an alleged “old covenantal world and age of the Jews and Judaism ended in AD 70”.

Which is INSANE and NOT SCRIPTURAL by the way!

“Spiritual life” and “glorification” to these cult members is allegedly theirs IN FULL RIGHT NOW they insist, because an alleged “new covenant age and world spiritual life” came in AD 70 when they say their definition of the “New Heaven and Earth” came in AD 70.

Their “New Heaven and Earth” is “the new covenant world and age” of “new covenant age spiritual life”.

Their “Christ” is allegedly here right now ever since AD 70, and their “Christ” who “returned the second time in AD 70” is “inside the spiritual tabernacle and temple” that “came down in AD 70”.

They say this “manifested in AD 70 new temple” is “the new covenant age Church” that you must join in order to “be in the Presence of the Christ” who “came back in AD 70” and brought his spiritual “Presence” at that time.

The “Presence” of this “Christ” that allegedly “returned the second time in AD 70” is “inside the new temple” that is “the corporate Church” that was once “corporate Israel”.

WOW! That’s some Occult New Age religion stuff right there!

You must simply TAP INTO this mystical “Presence” of this mystical “Christ” and the mystical “spiritual life” that they say came in AD 70 by believing all this cult doctrine.

If you believe this cult doctrine, you can right now have this “exclusive spiritual only life” that they say now exists in “the new covenant age and world” that began in AD 70.

They say there is perfection, glory, immortality, incorruption, and no sin “located” in “the realm” of this “spiritual life” that they say they now tapped into and now have.

They teach that “in the flesh” means “in the old covenant realm, location, and sphere”, so they have no concept of “sins in or of the flesh” that pertains to one’s physical flesh body.

They remove the biological physical flesh body from having anything to do with their concept of “spiritual death” and “spiritual life”.

THIS is close to the whole idea of Gnosticism!

They have literally (in their view) right now TRANSCENDED into a state of glory, perfection, immortality, and incorruption.

It’s “name it and claim it” on steroids.

They say they are RIGHT NOW “glorified”, “perfect”, “immortal”, and “incorruptible”, because it’s all just a “spiritual state” that they claim they have attained to through special esoteric teachings given to a few special people, even as they are trying to grow this cult.
